1. We celebrated my niece Victoria's 9th Birthday with a Webkinz Party. Just a small group with a sleepover but she had lots of fun.

2. We took Alyson and some friends to the Hannah Montana 3D Movie. We surprised them and we ALL had so much fun.

3. We watched the Super Bowl with some wonderful friends and ate very well too!
4. We had Craft Night at the church and we had 10 people there!! I think that was God's encouragement to me to show me that this is something He wants us to keep doing each month.
5. I had a wonderful prayer time with some ladies from church. We haven't been able to do this for a few months and it was very refreshing to get together again.
6. Valentine's Day was a very loving and fun time. We celebrated on that Wednesday night with a Spaghetti Dinner at church to support our college and youth mission trips this summer. Then on Valentine's Day, we met up with friends at Chik-fil-A for breakfast then had a little Valentine Party to let our little ones exchange cards. They decorated bags and we ate heart-shaped Krispy Kreme donuts.
7. We had a "Race Party" with some fun friends to watch the Daytona 500. A great day to be silly and laugh a lot.
8. Drew started soccer practice in February. He is a Spider this season and his first game is this morning! Very excited!
9. My brother-in-law, niece (Bethany), and father-in-law all had knee surgery this month. All are doing well or at least recovering as expected.
10. Bethany (after her surgery) won her singles and doubles tennis match last week! Congrats Bethany!!
11. Three of my 5 grandparents still with us were dealing with some serious health issues this month. Grandaddy Burch had a stroke, Meme Wright was in the hospital with pneumonia and Grandpa Vellner was diagnosed with Lung Cancer and is not expected to be with us much longer.
12. My sis-in-law, Christy, is also dealing with some health issues. She has had a lot of chest pain for almost 2 months now and the doctors can't figure out what is wrong. She is only 26 (I think) and is too young for the symptoms she is having. Please keep her in your prayers too as they try to figure out the cause.
13. Mid-month we ended up in the ER at 4:00 in the morning with Drew complaining of "it hurts so very bad" neck and head pain. Turns out it was a pulled muscle and a swollen lymph node. He wore a 'collar' for a few days off and on and is fine now. It was rather hard to eat when he couldn't bend his neck!
I'm sure there is much more but these are the things that immediately come to mind. God is teaching me so much this month about priorities, his attributes, my marriage, and just praising Him through it all! I was reading from a Devotional Book this morning and it said, "You don't need an army to defeat your giants, just a well-aimed Scripture backed up with a shout of praise.".
Some of my verses for February...
I Thess.5:21 "Test everything. Hold on to the good."
Luke 18:27 "Jesus replied, 'What is impossible with men is possible with God.'"
John 14:26 "But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you."
Time is flying by so fast and I do hope that an overview is not necessary every month. Thank you all for praying and just being! I love you lots!
