Snow Day!

Last night, the weather people predicted that we would have 1-2 inches of snow today. I woke this morning, very sad and disappointed that there was nothing. Drew got up and asked "Mommy, is it snowing outside?". I told him it must have missed us and it wasn't snowing. He quickly said, "Mom, it IS going to snow here. You just have to be patient!". Low and behold, a few minutes later we looked out the window and the snow was coming down. Out of the mouth of babes!! We all got in the car and went to pick Aly up from a sleepover in case the roads started getting bad. We then spent the next 1 1/2 hours out playing in the snow. Our neighbors, the Jenkins and Bellancas, came over and we even made a little snowman! It was so much fun!! This is the first snow I remember here since Aly was about a year old. I wish we had this every year. After going inside we enjoyed Hot Cocoa and Sante Fe Soup. Yummy! Here are flashes from the fun we had...
