Squirrels (Part 2)

OK - so as of my last post, we had caught the mama squirrel and discovered that there were also babies in our attic. We soon realized that there was only one baby who was very brave and noisy. After 5 days of hearing him and watching him try to climb back into the attic (only to fall off the roof at least twice):( we finally caught him last Wednesday. That night, our "animal control guy" was trying to see how tame he was so that hopefully he could be a pet. Needless to say, he was not tame and was able to escape back into our yard. Fortunately, the squirrel has not been seen since and we have forgiven the "animal control guy". Here is a picture of that sweet baby squirrel. (I can say that now that he is gone!)

And now for the latest update... take a look at what we caught today! Not in my attic thankfully but still...

If he weren't so creepy looking he might even be cute! The "animal control guy" is picking it up tonight! I hope we are finished with the traps for a while.

I don't think we can call Ryan an "animal control guy."

With what happened last Wednesday, I'd say that squirrel controlled him.

Gracious, is God starting to send the animals to your house? Are you the new Noah? Let me know, we want on board!

I wondered why "animal control guy" was in quotes!! That's hilarious!! I'm with Graced. Did some animal put out the word that your house is the cool place to be??? LOL

How funny...the possum cracks me up. The "out of control animal guy" really caused Abi some distress - she was so sad for you that the squirrel escaped from him, saying that she knew you'd be sad Hope's daddy let him go. She thought you wanted to keep him as a pet. Too hilarious. That's how we goofy animal lovers think I guess, though squirrels aren't one of my favorites.
