New Addition

For about a year now, our daughter has been asking for a pet. She has asked for a turtle, cat, hamster, mouse or a dog. As a family, we decided on a dog. After searching for many months for "just the right" dog, we have finally found her. Aly and Drew named her Sophi and she is a doll! I know that when I pray, I should always just seek that God's will be done but in this case I asked for that plus some specific requests. As far as we can tell, many of those have been answered as well. We are giving God all the glory for that. Sophi is very calm but playful. She hasn't tinkled or pooed in the house all day. At lunch and at dinner, she didn't beg for food but just layed down next to the table and slept. She hasn't chewed on anything or torn anything up. She was happy for her bath though a little scared. She has been spoiled, held, brushed, bathed, cuddled and kissed a lot and is taking it all in stride. And that is just from Jere. Alyson has already dressed her like a princess, wrapped her in a blanket like a baby and she has a bow in her hair. We are very thankful for our precious Sophi! - OK, I can't get my slide show to work so here are a couple of pics. More to come...
