Fall Festival and Halloween

This was a very eventful month for us. We have had a lot of fun but are so ready for things to settle down a bit. The weekend before Halloween was packed full. It started with Girl Scout Camp on Friday, then a Birthday Party on Saturday and we ended the weekend on Sunday night at our church Fall Festival. This is always so much fun so I thought I'd share some of my favorite pictures.

We went Trick or Treating with friends from our neighborhood on Halloween Night. Drew was Jeff Gordon and his best friend, Luke, was Tony Stewart. They were precious together!! Alyson wore two different costumes for the different events. She was Lola (Hannah Montana's best friend)for the weekend events then on Halloween she decided to be someone else. Her class had book reports due on the 31st so each child got to pick a book and dress as a character from the book. Alyson chose "Felicity - An American Girl" book and dressed as Felicity for school. She decided to just keep that on for Trick or Treating. Both costumes were sooo cute.

Halloween/Bday Party

My nieces, Ashton and Skylar share a Birthday Party each year since they have September/October birthdays. This year, her parents went ALL OUT! They dressed like the characters from the Wizard of Oz. Cindy was Glenda (The good witch), Derek - The Scarecrow, Ashton - The wicked witch of the West, Skylar - Dorothy, Remy - The Lion. Justin didn't want to dress like the Tin Man for some reason. Must be the teenager in him. They played games, had great food, and a costume contest. I don't have a picture of the other Bday girl here because Ashton was entertaining all of her many many friends who attended the party. We couldn't catch up to her. There were at least 50 people there. Drew dressed as Jeff Gordon and Alyson was Lola, Hannah Montana's best friend. Here are some of the fun shots... (just a reminder - you can put your cursor over the picture to read the captions)

Pumpkin Patch & Aly's Birthday

To celebrate Alyson's birthday this year, she wanted to have a few friends come with us to the Pumpkin Patch and then spend the night. It was a "FULL" day for all of us but we had so much fun. She invited 3 friends and my neighbor came too. We spent about 4.5 hours there and then came home and decorated pumpkins, made cupcakes, made music videos (that are hilarious) and finally went to bed.

We ended up celebrating her birthday for the whole month it seems. We started at the Pumpkin Patch on Fall Break and continued through her Birthday 2 weeks later. These are some of the memories we captured!
